About Me

Juli Santacruz is a multifaceted artist whose work spans percussion, performance, sound art, and music education. Based in Bern, Switzerland, Juli holds a Master’s degree in Percussion Performance from the University of the Arts Bern HKB, earned with honors, and a second Master’s in Contemporary Artistic Practice – Sound Arts (CAP) from the same institution.

Juli’s artistic practice addresses urgent topics, such as politics, ecology, and feminism, exploring them through new music, improvisation, experimentation, and musical theater.

Juli creates, researches, and collaborates actively in the field of electroacoustic music, contributing to various innovative collectives and projects, including Foyer 41, XYZ, OHR, and BDNOISE
